I always start off with the sometimes scary reality of these smoke grenades within your photos.
There is only one brand I will ever use and this brand is called Enola Gaye -

I would NOT suggest getting cheap, unbranded ones.
Smoke bombs are DANGEROUS! They are clased as fireworks, they spark when they light, they can get hot, they come with warnings to wear gloves whist using. These are not something to have a laugh with after you have had a few drinks(!!) As tempting as that seems haha , they need to be used responsibly!! :)
I have heard countless stories of things going wrong. One story was that a coloured flare stained a brides dress, another story I have heard is people can end up with burns, either on clothes or on themselves!
The only negative I have witnessed is a guest at a wedding (who knew full well the risks of these smoke grenades), as she was moving around with it, a spark came off it and left her with a small burn on her neck and a very small burn mark on her shirt.
IF after all the horrors of how these can go, you still want to risk it and have these at your weddings ....Then read on for some inspiration and good points about these!! :)
I would NOT recommend people are let loose with smoke bombs after drinking!!!
These photos can be super FUN though and make for amazing photos!! :D
Decide whether you would want colour (to match the wedding theme)? Or whether you would want plain white (or black) smoke to create an overall atmosphere :)
Also decide whether you would prefer to hold them yourself, have one (or two) set off behind you, or whether you want to get your bridal party involved (if they understand the risks and are still completely happy).
One final thing to note is that you will need to check with your venue that they are allowed :)
I will leave you to decide whether these types of photos are for you or not, if you have any additional questions or would like me to help out with any part of wedding plan process, just reach out and lets have a chat! :)
